NAAC Peer team Visits Mokeri College
The NAAC peer team visit towards assessing and accrediting the college concluded successfully on 17. 01.2017. In a simple but austere Exit meeting the chairman of the team, Prof. Shashidhar Prasad handed over the peer team report to Dr. PK Meera, principal of the college.
Press-meet regarding NAAC visit
The college authorities and the NAAC coordinator arranged a press meet today 11.01.2017 to discuss the various facets regarding NAAC reaccreditation of the college. principal Dr. PK Meera, MLA Sri Parakkal Abdulla, NAAC Coordinator Sri. July 27 2016 , ‘VISION 2020 MISSION CONTINUES’ – IN COMMEMORATION OF FIRST DEATH ANNIVERSARY OF FORMER PRESIDENT OF INDIA Dr A P J ABDUL KALAM.
In commemoration of first death anniversary of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Department of Commerce organised a programme by memorising his milestones which was inaugurated by Dr. D G Radhakrishnan (Former Principal and Deputy Director of Collegiate Education, Kottayam) on 27th july 2016 at 10.00 am . As a tribute to The Great Missile Man of India, Students of department of commerce launched a handwritten magazine named ‘Ambition, Precision, Jubilation’. As a part of the programme , The Department conducted Inter Collegiate Quiz Competition ‘COMPETENCIA’.

PG Department of English & Centre for Research, Govt. College Mokeri is organizing a two-day national seminar sponsored by the Directorate of Collegiate Education, Thiruvananthapuram on 13,14 January 2016. The seminar focuses on the contemporary academic and popular offshoots that address imbrication of margins and the center, and have assumed a course of informed, ethical and critical interdisciplinarity, along with the historical responsibility of meting out representational justice. The seminar seeks to define “the margin” as a concept in a fuller manner and map the various inter-discursive stakes involved in doing so.
